Everyone has made sure to tell me there's something wrong with me for ASKING to work friday nights in the ER. ヽ(ｏ^皿^ｏ)ﾉ WHICH MEANS THEY WILL BE EVERYTHING I HAVE HOPED AND DREAMED THEY WILL BE

Also, the dude that trained me kept complaining about how no hospitals would hire him even though he 'totally already got his CNA and everything.' I just laughed.

ERs are absolutely unpredictable. XD It's a great experience, but sometimes randomly, quite dull. I hope you enjoy it!

Well yeah, I mean it would be pretty weird if people got injured on a schedule. I'm really hoping my first shift this coming Friday will be a quiet one, since I trained on a Saturday morning and there were no other signs of life in the hospital then. Getting thrown into bloody chaos with no appropriate experience is only fun in video games, after all XD

I have no worries about you fitting into the hospital environment. I really think you'll like it. The sort of comraderery and the morbidity that goes along with it is something you either have, or you don't.
